Listen and Write

This level eases your student into the world of English spelling and will provide the foundation needed for them to become confident, competent spellers.

This level:

Focuses on lowercase letter formation, consonants, and short vowels
Moves students from three-letter words to four-letter words
Is for a beginning reader who is still learning letter names and sounds, and how to hold a pencil properly when writing
