WriteShop II

WriteShop II teaches students to write and edit persuasive, compare/contrast, and descriptive essays. Students work on the components of an essay, including thesis statements, while also learning to work within a time limit. In each lesson, students will apply skills, such as outlining and use of parallel sentence construction, as they brainstorm, outline and edit, and revise their compositions, resulting in well-structured and polished writings.
