The Student Workbooks come with a Guide to Handwriting. One daily lesson consists of two facing pages. Each of the 36 lessons is divided into five parts, A through E. Students and instructor read the week’s rhyme together. In Jack and Jill Student Workbook Part 1, students copy a short phrase or sentence and then fill in a set of letter boxes, focusing on short vowel sounds. Jack and Jill Student Workbook Part 2 continues the nursery rhyme theme, but the student will begin to find vowel and consonant patterns in each passage (“chunking”), and also begin more extended copywork.
The Spelling You See Jack and Jill Set includes an Instructor's Handbook and Student Workbooks and is ideal for instructors and students who are new to Spelling You See or are teaching this level for the first time. This set includes everything you need to achieve success.
