Gamma Instruction Manual

Students should start at their individual level of mastery. While concepts are reviewed continuously throughout the Math-U-See Curriculum, it is important that previously presented concepts have prepared a solid foundation. Please read the information below and use the placement tools provided to determine which level best meets the needs of your student. 

Your student may be ready for Gamma if they can:

• Read and write numbers through the hundred thousands
• Count by twos, fives, and tens
• Recall addition and subtraction facts from memory
• Add and subtract multiple-digit numbers using regrouping (carrying or borrowing) as needed
